StL Baseball has crossed 11,000 downloads! I meant to celebrate at the 10,000 download milestone but I’ve been really busy lately that I missed it! I’m very excited that StL Baseball has crossed this milestone and it’s all thanks to the users and to the great bloggers that have graciously allowed me to share their great content. I feel extremely lucky that Cardinal Nation has the BEST bloggers on the face of the planet and I hope to meet them face to face someday. For now I’ll continue to enjoy their company onTwitter.

We’ve had an exciting couple of weeks with opening day surging the app to a peak of #42 on the Top Free Sports Category on iPhone. We’ve also been in the Top 200 Free Sports since March 22. As of yesterday we were at #190 and most likely on the way out of the top 200 but we’ve had a fun ride and I have a feeling that with hopefully some great success from the Cardinals this year that the app will shoot back up!

We’ve also seen the release of Belo Corp’s BaseballStL on March 23. At first I felt kind of rubbed the wrong way because their app name is just a reversal of mine but as time healed my wounds I realized that their app most likely has helped in the success of StL Baseball. I was also proud that at one time there were two St. Louis Cardinals apps in the top 50 of Sports. That to me shows how awesome and widespread Cardinal Nation really is. I also realize that I want my favorite Cards bloggers to be in as many outlets as possible because that’s really what it’s all about.

As always if you have a request for future features or your a blogger wanting to get in on the next version then drop me a line! There is no blog too big or too small because we are all Cardinal Nation.

It was just a few short hours ago that our first app The Life of a Sippy Cup Mom was approved. Now comes word that The Democrat Loop has been approved. This is an app where you can keep up with all the latest news and blogs from The Democratic Party. Don’t worry Republicans we have an app for you too. Unfortunately our first submission was rejected due to the app crashing upon launch. It has been fixed and has been resubmitted. Hopefully by this time next week The Republican Loop will be available!

Today Apple delivered the great news that the Life of a Sippy Cup Mom app has been approved! This has been a great last couple of months with some ups and downs but we are so excited to finally get this app out there. One thing though: the Events page is outdated. It took so long to get through the approval process that the information is no longer applicable. I will be submitting an update to put up new events in the coming days.

We just submitted our first app for The Life of a Sippy Cup Mom. This is a great blog from my wife Melissa who shares her adventures in parenthood and also has great reviews and giveaways on her site. We hope to hear back from Apple within a week or two. There is apparently not a set time in which they can guarantee the app will be accepted or rejected.
